Many of the residents living on Monterey Road have been in the Pikes Peak Park neighborhood for decades. I have witnessed those residents start to move out of the neighborhood, into care facilities, or sadly passing away. It is vital to capture these irreplaceable stories before the character of this neighborhood changes any further and while residents are still able to tell their unique stories.
In collaboration with the Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum, Daily Dose 719 staff will interview 25
residents of Pikes Peak Park and record their stories on video and digital audio. Plus we can help you scan and preserve your photos.
